This test will be slightly chaotic as I had limited time for tests ( one evening ).
As in title, this thread is about G.Skill Ripjaws 4 - F4-2666C15Q-32GRR so 32GB DDR4-2666 memory kit.

SN is suggesting it's Samsung based kit. Also overclocking results are suggesting the same. Since it's not my memory then I didn't want to take off heatsinks.

I was testing this memory mainly on ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger but XMP test was also on MSI X99A RAIDER with the only available P0 BIOS ( really I was counting MSI at least released 1-2 newer versions but board seems stable ).

There is only one XMP profile but it's not working on Z170 at all - board is showing 55 error code so simply memory is not working. On X99 for which it's designed, XMP profile is working without issues.

XMP on X99 motherboard is below:

XMP on Z170 is not working but I was able to set similar settings manually and it's working fine.

Overclocking Results - 1.35V

All tests below were performed on ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger ( Z170 ) motherboard using 2 memory sticks.

3000 or anything above wasn't possible. Memory was simply not working and board was showing 55 error code. The same at much more relaxed timings and voltage up to 1.45V.
