Switching left right audio output on old Logitech speakers.

I have an old set of logitech speakers with one output wire. Due to desk/power/computer locations I'm forced to locate Left speaker on the right side and vice versa. I'd like switch it around.

Does anyone know If I could do this by cutting the output wire and re-splicing it ? Or am I talking crazy talk.
