The PCM1792A is a very popular DAC that has been used in a lot of high end HD audio solutions. The OPA1612 is the best signal level audio opamp I'm aware of and the TPA6120A2 the best headphone driver I'm aware of. It also helps that my best friend's "magic charm" brings out every last bit of quality those parts can do, though it would be hard to tell the difference on such high end hardware. (On low end hardware, however, the difference is quite dramatic!)

If it helps, everyone who has listened to the OpenDAC HD really liked it, some commenting that they never heard anything that good.
