Good Morning All,

I'm just about ready to order the last of the components for my Stormtrooper themed build [Build Thread Pending], and I just would like a little reassurance that I haven't goofed on any parts. I'm new to the overclockers.com community, I migrated over here because of the frequent activity and quality content I see here on the forums.

For CPU block, I have a

Going with a photon Glass res

Pump wise, a swiftech MCP50X will circulate my coolant, and I will connect the pump by PWM to my motherboard.

I have a Black Ice 360 in my possession already. (Doing the Radiator Dance this morning actually and then again when I put the build together)

I have 6x Corsair SP 120's for push pull up top.

Tubing will be Primoflex Clear, 3/4 OD, 1/2 ID

Fittings are a bit of a mixed bag because of the current stock levels at performance PCs. Three of each of the below, and I have two thermaltake 1/2 ID 3/4 OD fittings already.

Enthoo Luxe Case, as you can see in the picture. This will be cooling a shiny new 6600K.

I would really like to add a 240 up front, as I may purchase a 980 TI Poseidon and add that to the loop eventually, but I have some concerns.
First, I would really like to retain at least part of the HDD cages. Secondly, I'm concerned that adding a radiator to the intake will warm my intake air too much. My current config has 2 290X in CF, and those bad boys need a lot of cool air. Again, that would be replaced if I go the 980 route, but I'll be running the 290's for at least a bit, and would like to install the rad now if possible.

I will have one 140 exhaust fan in the top left placement for the case. I'm thinking of trying to rig up some sort of intake to take in air just above the power supply, or dremel a case fan into the back side near the HDD cages. Also thinking of flipping that exhaust on the left side to be an intake.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Also looking for a reccomendation for Flowmeter and or Temperature Monitor that I can connect with a minimum of fuss.

As far as air flow is concerned, just have the front (rad or not) as intake and the top + rad as intake as well and just use the rear as exhaust is your best bet. That's how I have mine configured as I get the best temps possible and all intakes are filtered as well.

For temps, you can look at some Bitspower water temp probes for the loop and use a standalone display for it or a fan controller if you're controlling your fans that way. As far as flowmeters are concerned, I would look at koolance for those.

You'll be hard pressed to get a 54mm thick rad in push pull on there. I have the alphacool 360mm XT45 in the roof of my Lux and I had to leave off one fan on the bottom to clear my mobo 8pin and heat sinks, the other 2 barely fit, but did. I'm now running it simply pull with the fans on the top outside of the case under the pop top . IMHO flow meters and water temp sensors are a waste of time and money. You'll know your temps are good by monitoring your CPU temps. As for flow a quick look at the rez will reassure you there's flow. also before ordering if you want less of a mix bag of fittings have you looked at a different size tubing?? I myself prefer the 7/16 x 5/8 tubing for its ease of use and finding the fittings lol.

and on a side note I gutted all the bays on the front to make room for my 280mm XT45 rad in front to cool my 980's in sli. I also added a 240 ST30 to the floor. But I had a 750GB SSHD that's 2.5 inch to add to my 1TB ssd so I didn't need the HDD cages.

Its a fun case to work in if I had the room to house it I'd of gone with the Primo so I didnt have to give up anything.

I actually pulled the trigger on saturday and ordered that configuration already. I'll have to deal with a slight mish mash of fittings but I'll be okay. My Enthoo Luxe has arrived, and I see what you mean. My 360 is a fairly thick radiator, and the fans do look like they may intrude unto the motherboard. I think I'll do what you did and just have one set in pull. I don't yet have the motherboard, but I'm excited to block everything out and see how this build will fit.

My only gripe with the case is I wish they included some 3.5 to 5.25 bay adapters. I don't need all 8 HDD cages, but I certainly don't need any of the 5.25 bays, I have a blue ray, but will likely just leave it off the build.

A question about the 280 rad up front, no trouble getting it to fit? The specs for the Luxe say only a 240 can go there.

had to remove all the odd and hdd trays basically removed the entire support system for the hdds and odds

dang need to update my sig lol its changed a tad
