Kind of a weird problem

I just bought a PNY 3.0 turbo 64gb flash drive. I have the Rosewill thor V2 case and the Asus z97 pro-gamer mb. The front usb3.0 works but when I connect the flash drive the bottom port will not recognize it,but all other 3.0 ports will.Even the 2.0 ports will recognize it. The bottom 3.0 port works because I can connect other devices to it,just not the pny flash drive. Any ideas?

Are the ports that don't work with your flash drive on a different USB controller from the ones that do work?

I think I might have found the problem. A loose connection in the port. I'm going to shut everything down and take a closer look. Thanks for the response,I'll post something when I'm sure.
