If we go machines I built myself, it would be..........from a Thunderbird *first gaming rig* to a new board and XP 1600+ I won from AMD's Xtreme Perfomance Project. Was kinda cool, shipped to my door, and came with a steel AMD branded pen.

I had forgotten about my first actual 'upgrade' to the old 80286 computer. I added a 80287 math co-processor to it. After that was the CPU & mobo upgrade to i486 DX50.

Timex Sinclair 1000 --> Z80
Commodore Vic 20
Commodore 64
386SX (not DX)...math coprocessor upgrade in 1990!

Do you folks remember the disk drives for the old Commodore computers? Did you know that they were serial running at 1200 baud? The "fast loaders" brought that up to 4800 and 9600 baud...man that was fast back then.

Ultima III forever!!!! Long live Lord British!
