Hello. I have an old Acer 5552-7474 laptop that I have not used for some time. I decided to use it again, format it and refresh Windows on it. Laptop came with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium, so I do not have a DVD with the copy of Windows7 ready for installation. Please tell me where could I find a working link for downloading Windows 7 Home Premium?

Windows key > All Programs > Acer Empowering Technology > eRecovery Management > Restore (At the bottom) > Factory (from top of list).

You will need a password the default is "000000" (six zeros).
The user is asked to create a password the VERY first time erecovery is run...

If your computer will not boot:

Turn computer ON and immediately start pressing F2 to enter into BIOS.
Use your arrow keys to select "Main" and press enter.
Use you arrow keys to select "D2D"
Enable D2D
Exit saving changes...

Restart computer.
During start up (When the Acer splash is on screen)
Hold " Alt " key and keep pressing " F10 ".

eRecovery should now run.
