Hellooo,
Long time no post. Really long time. Built a fancy Conroe rig back in '06 /07 with a custom external lucite waterbox, quick disconnects, all that jazz. OC'd that Core 2 Duo to 3.6GHZ since day one and haven't looked back sense. Who says excessive vCore will kill your CPU early? ;)

It's finally time to pull the upgrade trigger. I'm a bit older and less patient but I'm still a cheapskate who loves a quiet PC.

Was wondering if the old d-tek block i have would fit the new socket:
old block:

Also have a Swiftech MCW60-R that is no longer in use because I upgraded vid cards and didn't end up watercooling the new one. doubt that can fit on a Mobo tho..

And from the really old AMD rig, i have a 3 inlet copper block with a dangerden gpu block. Can't seem to find those part #s these days..

Pump is Swiftech MCP355 w/Custom Delrin DDC Pump Top (MCP355-DDCT-01). Seems to still be pumping like a champ.

The Rad is a beast. Don't recall what brand it is but it doesn't really matter. It's pretty close to the R360 Aluminum http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/201264761017?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82

Back in the day this stuff was pretty pricey. Those NS6 quick disconnects really blew the bank.

The big questions
1) Is it worth it or is there is simple kit out there that's of decent quality for relatively cheap?
2) Do LGA 775 to 1151 mounting bracket compatibility/adapters?

TIA,
Froz

Sorry, your CPU block doesn't have the mounting hardware for the 115X sockets.

That said, you could easily grab a nice block like this for less than good heatsinks or AIO's:

Simply add that to your existing loop, drop out the GPU block, and call it a day :)
