This might be a first for you. Picture a guy on a deserted island. He has few hand tools, spotty Internet access, and a big problem. While he has an s4 that works well, he has a laptop that works better. Problem is that he's getting data on his phone that needs to go on his laptop which has no Internet access. He holds the s4's microsd in one hand, then stares at the laptop's USB port. How can he get that tiny card to transfer data via the USB port? He has to make an adapter but is it possible?

is this a trick question? Is there no charger cable to connect the phone directly to the PC and tether with? He's got no micro sd card adapter to plug the thng into the built in sd port that exists on many laptops ?

Tell me the answer I must know! :)

Simply plug the included USB power cord into the computer. Your phone may pop up in Installer mode. Pull down the stuck notification, touch it and then select media device. Then the phone itself, with its SD card, should show up as a drive on the laptop.
