The backplate heatsink cools them from the backside if its worrisome to you or him you can use enzotech heatsinks with the removable thermal tape to allay any fears. Arctic knows what theyre doing

Good luck with cooling the VRM from the back side of the card...
He WAS using heatsinks with thermal tape, that's where the issue was....
