Hi,
Im looking for a 7200 2TB for my PS4. Can you suggest one please ?
Thank you

That's a shame, I'd hold out for one or drop in storage size; I had a 7200RPM in my PS3 and it made going back to 5400RPM in my stock PS4 drive excruciating.

I'm not aware of any 2TB 7200RPM 2.5" HDD's.

I knew ATMIN was right but went looking anyway because I had just gotten a new laptop drive and was surprised to hear such a thing. I was sure I had seen one, but apparently all I had seen were 1tb drives ... until I ran across this: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digit...3705&sr=8-24&keywords=laptop+drive+++7200+rpm

be aware that it is a WD green and they are meant to spin down when when not in use for energy conservation. I dont know how that will work with a PS4. Also the description states that it will not fit a regular laptop because it is 15mm high. I also dont know if that matches PS4 specs.

Essentially ATMIN is still correct unless this oddball will fit the bill

That's the same drive I linked in the second post.

D'oh! I just assumed when you said you didn't know of any 7200rpm drives....

Well there you have it. That's the only one I could find either. I was sure I saw rtb laptop drives about a week ago, but I'm almost certainly mistaken because they don't seem to be there now

I would consider changing to a hybrid drive for pretty close to the same amount of money, it will decrease your load times by a bit.

The drive also has to be 9mm tall, I believe the green is 15mm?

I believe this is the only thing that most people recommend:
http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup-Portable-External-STDR2000100/dp/B00FRHTSK4

Buying that and taking apart the enclosure and plugging in the drive.

GiantBomb did a video with one of their writers doing it some months ago.
