1866MHz Memory for Alienware 15 R1?

I have an Alienware 15 (Early 2015) R1 with an i7 4710HQ.

CPU-Z shows the 1866MHz 16 GB memory running at clock speeds of 10-10-10-24 (933.3 MHz per module).

But in the BIOS is display "0" under memory clock speed (where it should read 1866MHz).

Any ideas of why this may be?

Do I need to downgrade to 16 GB 1600MHz memory?

No. It's a bios glitch. Believe CPUz.

Have you heard of any issues with 1866MHz memory not working with the AW 15 or the i7 4710HQ?

Would you happen to know if this kit of 32GB memory (2 x 16GB 1600MHz) would work with the R1? (CPU again is the i7 4710HQ).

Do not know for a fact, but I don't see why not. Do you really need 32 gig?

I was thinking about purchasing a consumer-friendly video editing program for home vids, projects, etc. Kind of a little new side-hobby.
