Mr. Wallmount project - Finished 15-02-2016
UPDATE 19-01-2016
Hey guys
As luck would have it, an acquaintance of mine had a spare PC left over which he didn't have the use for since the PSU that came with the machine had died on him.
This got me thinking and made me decide to change the whole concept of this project into something a little more compact
Instead of a build for my main PC, I will be changing this into a media center build for my "man cave". Originally I was intending to use a RsbPi2 with Kodi for this, but when the opportunity opened up, I just couldn't resist.
Hey Guys
It's time for a new project :dremel:
I've been wanting to take use of the different watercooling stuff I have lying around, and at the same time find a way to show it off, other than some case, standing on the floor, noone really looks at.
I've been looking around for wallmounted cases to buy, but the cheapskate in me has held back, since my new GTX 980 Ti set me back a few bucks :o, so I figured why not make my own.
Now since I don't have access to any fancy workshop og CNC machines, I'm making this of pure MDF and plexiglas, something that is easy to work with as well as cut with the tools avalible to me.
To Do list:

Build the main frame

Add mounting for the different hardware and cooling

Build support for PSU and maybe GFX - vertical mount to show off possible W/C block

Make holes for cable management

Make holes for radiator airflow

Add hole for the fan controller, as well as power, reset, USBs and LEDs

Add support/frame for plexiglas protection screen

Give finished case a paint job

Add wallmount to the back of the case

Probably a lot more I hadn't thought of to begin with :D
Hardware I will be using:

CPU: Intel Core i7 2700K

MOBO: ASUS Maximux V Gene

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DD3 16 GB

SSD: Samsung EVO 850 250 GB

HDD: WD Green 1.5TB

GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC ACX 2.0+

PSU: Cooler Master V1000
Cooling that will be used:

CPU: EK Supreme HF

RES: Not yet decided

GFX: Not yet decided

RAD: HW-Labs Black Ice GTX 360

FANS: Phobya Nano-2G
