Hello,
My name is Kathleen Atkins, and my day job is associate editor of Windows Secrets. One of the privileges of that gig is seeing what’s on the minds of Windows Secrets Lounge forum members and reporting a little bit about that in the Windows Secrets newsletter every week in the Lounge Life column.

When Penton asked me to do something similar for the Overclockers site, I came to your forums with curiosity. What you do with machinery is not exactly computing as usual, and so I’m impressed. It’s as if I’m watching you all exchange tips for inventing new limits for computer parts and crash-testing them as you go. (If that’s not exactly what you’re doing, please feel free to correct my impressions.)

In fact, I hope not only to get better acquainted with what you’re doing with your computers but also to learn what brings you to all that effort. When (in January) the Overclockers newsletter starts coming to you once a week, I’d like to include a periodic feature in it called Interesting Histories, in which you tell me what brought you to overclocking and to the Overclockers forum. To that end, please send me email at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing and learning from you.

Meet the New Moderators
Matt Ring (mdcomp) reports:
Just last week, we welcomed three new additions to our team of moderators ATMINSIDE, Janus67 and Johan45. All of them have been long-time members of Overclockers.com and community leaders, not to mention experts in computers and overclocking. We’ll tell you more about them next issue, in January.

Overclockers.com Goes to the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show
As in years past, Overclockers.com editors Earthdog and Mdcomp are heading to CES in Las Vegas (January 6 through 9) to bring you the latest and greatest new products. We already have 10 meetings scheduled, where we will meet with representatives from some of our favorite brands, like ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI and more. Stay tuned to the Overclockers.com homepage and @overclockerscom on Twitter for updates.

Hey Kathleen, just wanted to say I'm looking forward to future issues of the newsletter and welcome you to the madness (forum)!

^^ Regardless, the moments we shared will be forever emblazoned in my memory.
Still......I pine.
