It's that time of year for the first of four 3D benchmarks. First up is Catzilla 720P. So break out thos video cards and open some windows. Let's see what kind of results we can get.


What: Catzilla 720P
Who: any forum member
GPU: any GPU, no speed cap max of 2 cards please
Cooling: any cooling type
When: Ends: January 31st, 12 Midnight EST

The reason they found was that the timer could be manipulated by dropping FSB speed. Essentially making the clock run slower. When benches are measured in time like FPS the results were skewed since the second was actually longer than a second allowing the bencher to squeeze a couple more frames in. So Future mark developed a check in their benches via sys info which allowed user to run them with any OS as long as there was a valid output.
 
so a little cheating could go on?????????

well I fell from my high horse pretty quickly this month............. looks like I'll be bringing up the rear once again........
 
The cheating was actually quite significant like 10%.
No worries C_D , I know you fun with it regardless
