still takes up too much space for a card that is nearly at the top of the case already. and wouldn't play nice if i need 2 of them since that right angle adapter is going longways with the card and into the region of the adjacent PCIe power port.
but the 380 is working well. i'll get some pics, it's a tight fit.

Well, here's the completed system. Specs in the sig.
Tight fit for everything. Interesting at the size of this MB, smaller than typical MicroATX, it's closer to a FlexATX size.
Haven't had a chance to load up the GPU yet, but I ran Lynx for a while on the CPU with the lid closed and it maxes out around 76C. good enough for me lol.
