Edit: I had a bad 4gb stick of RAM causing all sorts of errors. Out with the old, in with the new & folding again. :)

I have one PC that keeps failing. It was folding CPU & GPU, but I deleted the CPU because that FahCore was failing. Now the GPU is doing it pretty consistently. I'm new to troubleshooting this program, so I could really use some help with it.

PC spec is HP 6200 Pro
i3-2120, 2x4GB DDR3-1333, Radeon HD 7750, everything is stock. Win 7 Pro & the latest Crimson AMD driver (I need to downgrade to Catalyst 13.9, correct?)

I captured this log at 21:50Z, and it had stopped at 18:17

Crashes happen, it's part of the contract you signed. Sometimes you get a bad WU. Sometimes anything. But reading your logs and knowing that it restarted, well, give it another week.

It's been about a week without completing anything & now fah fails immediately on startup. There seems to be other problems with my Windows 7 install too. This is a dedicated basement folder, it has no other use. I think I'm going to format & reinstall.

May apply, may not. A few passes of memtest may save you a whole lot of work.

My Rosetta crunchers displayed random "flakieness", failed ram on 1, failing HDDs on 2. One of the random rigs was a gpu folder also.

I'll try that tonight... Now where's that CD of mine? Actually I think my copy is so old I need an updated ISO.
Thx

time for new sticks!!!
as for the driver i find the 13x-14.9 work best and some like the later, give both a try for a week or so and see which works best for your card.

Yup, or get back to folding on 4gb if only one stick is bad. I think I'm going to try the 13.9 catalyst & see how that goes once I get back up running.

Hopefully the ram under warranty is the one not working. Lol

Edit: Up running on 4gb & catalyst 13.9. The new 4gb stick was throwing errors in Memtest86, so I'll get it swapped out when I find time to drive up to Microcenter.

Thanks Donuts!
