White noise

Hi

I know this might not be about overclocking but i was hoping for som ehelp anyway

I bought a samson meteor mic and when i start to record then i get this white noise in the bagground
Here is a link to the sound file were i turn the record volume from 0 to 100

Try turn up ur volume

That would make too much sense. But seriously, if I turned it up any higher I doubt it would be anything other than noise from my preamp + your preamp.... Maybe someone else will chime in and say otherwise. You may want to post this at gearslu*z.com

So you cant hear anything unless you turn the volume up to red ?
