Great for Battlefield as the the depth of explosions and machine gun fire in the distance and near are very distinct as opposed to my old cans,

What you are describing is called "sound stage". Apparently, your new cans have a wider sound stage. That is usually a good thing.

yes, it seems more spacious. really digging them compared to my old set
