Multimeter USe for Wireless Charging Checking

I wasn't sure where to put this question. I hope someone can give me some steps. I thought the modding forum would be best as I imagine some have used multimeters.

I have a wireless charger. With a multimeter, how can I check the following

1. What level of current is actually being emitted by the charging base?

2. Where is the most amount of current leaving the charging base, how to determine this? One would think where the mount is located to charge, but I know this is not always the case for this model wireless charger.
