I'm currently working on benching the 775 MB CPU series. My problem is that when my F1DE is mounted, I have no space left to properly wrap the pot. On the bottom side I hit the NB HS, on the left I hit the 2nd VRM heat pipe, and up top I hit the 1st VRM heat pipe :(

Looking for guidance from others that have benched the 775 MB.

Shave some of the foam off in those areas... perhaps tightly tape the base there so you can get your shop towel around it... I have never used that board, but those are 'board agnostic' mitigation techniques.

You already have foam on it right? Do you use a foam gasket at the bottom? If you just want to get the towel around it I use wooden skewers to "tuck" things in or even a chopstick might work.
