Greetings, I just finished my new build and do not have enough fan headers on this mother board.
I have a total of 7 fans, 2 CPU and 5 case fans.
It has 1 main cpu fan header and 1 optional cpu header for fans
It also has 3 case fan headers
and 1 extension fan header which has 5 pins.
I searched and could not find anything useful on how to use that 5 pin ext fan header.
i have 2 installed fans not connected, The Motherboard uses software to control these fans.
Thank in advance as always for your help, MikeJ

Had the same problem while playing around with some extra fans. I just hooked them up to my PSU using some adaptors and I also used a low noise adaptor to control the fan speed. the better solution would be a fan hub of some sorts that you can connect your fans to, but for me it was more for fun then performance.
