Delid accident, looking for advice to resolder capacitor

Thats the cap, still attached but knocked onto its side and the tip of my soldering iron. Im inexperienced with soldering, how should i go about it? (if possible)

Yep, the capacitor itself is split, you need a new one for sure.
 
Here's a closer picture, i was hoping to re-attach it. I havent been able to find exactly what it is yet, but a few people have said thier cpu worked without it, which is what ill try.

These types of caps are usually just DC line filter caps. You should be fine without the cap (thought I would recommend replacing it at some point).
