The gold edition keeps going on and off for sale, I got it for sale for 575 - 30 dollar rebate so 545. (newegg)
If you guys are buying any nvidia card definitely go for the sales, they are literally one a day. I tend to check buildapcsales on reddit and they are pretty good at that. That's how I found that gfx sale on the gold edition 980ti and a sale on my case too
