I saw that saturday on a different site.

MSRP is supposed to be around $1500. Not terribly surprised and nothing new... I have seen that on ebay for just about every generation!
 
I think if you read the "fine print" from Intel, an engineering sample is the property of Intel and you may not sell it. Someone just forked out @$1900 for a chip that they cannot register or buy Intel OC tuning protection for. I guess bragging rights come at a steep price.

All correct. You are not supposed to sell ES samples.
