waterblock lga 2011 compatability question

Will a waterblock lga-2011 be compatible with a lga-2011 -v3? thanks in advance.. this is the water block iam asking this for http://www.swiftech.com/apogeedrive2.aspx ...reason i like this waterblock is because doesnt required mb back plate ..also if you know any other water block that does not require back plate let me know thanks.

Yes, they are the same bolt pattern.

You could use any waterblock that comes with or without a blackplate because the new 2011 v3 sockets don't need. They come with one installed on the MB. All you have to do is just screw down whichever waterblock you decide to go with as long as its specified compatibility with that socket.
