It's likely the mediocre at best board... that's odd it does tbat... weird bios...not really conducive to overclocking. That 1.5v will shorten it's lifespan.
 
Doesn't that board have like 10 phases. Something is wrong here, how is your OS working when you have 4.4GHz.
 
Board is 8 phases, i believe. But its an intel board.. nobody goes there to overclock for a reason. Its typically not a good experience.

Can you explain what your second sentence means please... why wouldnt an OS work at 4.4ghz? What are you trying to say?

Just wondering if he has some stability problems now in his OS at 4.4GHz? I agree intel board have always been bad experience for overclocking.
