Saw this on Tom's. According to the article it will be released, at least in Australia, next week, which implies US availability soon enough. New controller for better heat management and throughput. The chart says it all. 3.2GB/s read and very respectable IOPS and writes, pricing around $0.55/GB. NVMe. What's not to like?

Here's what they do:

New releases of hardware are sent to the Aussies first, if they can't break it then it goes world-wide. :rofl:
