What is the function of the holes in ek reservoir?

Hi guys:)I want to buy the ek res x3 250.I have seen that it has tworked holes at the bottom and two in a side.What is the function if th holes in the side?
 
To connect fittings so you can run tubing?

Not sure why this is a question, they're G1/4 threaded entries to the reservoir.
 
They are just different options for fitting placement depending on how the res is mounted and fits into your loop.
 
OP, I think you need to start with the intro to watercooling basics and have a read at our water cooling stickies.
