Was just wondering if anyone had any idea of a way to set up M.2 on a R.A.I.D array. Some sort of PCI-e Card that would do it. Cant see any motherboard supporting it at the moment. Oh and the M.2 im talking about is the one that uses PCI-e bus not the Sata.

I do not think there are boards out that have two FULL SPEED M.2 Key M slots...I see there are some with two M.2 slots with one being 32gbps and the other 10gbps. If you can raid those on the board, you would be limited to the 10gbps speeds... at that point, a single fast m.2 like the OCZ RD400 or Samsung 950 Pro would be faster I think...

You can setup a RAID with M.2. Reason I went with this motherboard. ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 using all 3 slots disables all the SATA ports, but not a deal breaker to me.

3x SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 512GB RAID 0 - $954
AVG READ - 5889 MB/S
MAX READ - 7062 MB/s
AVG WRITE - 3867 MB/S
MAX WRITE - 4416 MB/s

You could also go the cheaper route.

3x SM951 NVMe PCIe M.2 128GB RAID 0 - $300
AVG READ - 4734 MB/s
MAX READ - 5439 MB/s
AVG WRITE - 1797 MB/S
MAX WRITE - 2013 MB/s
