Drivers Not Loading Up Brightness Settings

I've had to revert back to the 15.12's because of issues with some games but all the drivers I've used except the old 14.xx series don't seem to be loading up my brightness settings I've set up in Additional Settings I have to manually start it by right mouse clicking and opening up the settings section then it loads my chosen settings, even when I re-installed the 15.12's driver CCC doesn't start-up even though there's a start-up entry ??? anyone know how to fix this.
