Will Windows boot faster with these SSDs?

Kidding, of course. I wonder if it would even run Windows. More likely it runs a dedicated OS, perhaps based on Linux or some UNIX variant. This is not something I'm ever likely to own but I think there are those among us who get to play with stuff like this at work.

All I can say is "On the 128KB sequential reads we hit 25GB/s." and "3 million random read IOPS" - Woof!

Funny...but the previous article is VERY interesting to me...is this right?

For some definition of right, I suppose. I see the author complaining about 12GB/day of writes. In anopther article I see "Intel guarantees that the total of about 37 TB of data will be written to X25-M drives (20 GB per day for 5 years:" (https://ssd-life.com/eng/how.html) I could not find in the article you cite an estimate of drive life at that usage level. If it is the same capacity drive, expected life would be over 8 years. A larger drive would have a higher total write capacity and thus be even less affected by this so I consider it a non-issue, personally.

Ha. Thats slow... I've seen faster... J/K
Oh and yes windows runs it, its running on Server 2012 R2 with 512GB of ram.
