Hi
I have recently have this problem that when I start the PC the monitor enters to power saving mode and does not wake up from there (black screen all the time)
The windows starts normally (can hear from sound).

I need to turn off the PC quite many times until it finally is able to turn the monitor on.

has anyone else got this same problem?
what should I try?

The PC specs are in sign below.

thx

The monitor is:
DELL 24" ULTRASHARP U2412M IPS LED

Does this occur with a different computer connected to the monitor?

You need to hard reset your monitor. e.g. unplug the monitor from the power source for a few mins then plug it back in.

unfortunately i dont have another PC to test this except my laptop but that doesnt have right plugin (it has VGA).

Grab a $5 converter to go from VGA to whatever else you need.

Well it started again today and having power off the monitor for couple of minutes did not seem to help. i just had to reboot several times to get it on.

My suggestion is still to connect your other computer to the monitor to rule out the computer as the issue.
