I just saw this, and have to wonder about the third item.

Removed the Copy Protection option when ripping CDs in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format from Windows Media Player.

Does this mean that not keeping copy protection is no longer an option? Because that would be in line with M$' efforts to date. Anybody remember Sony's DRM virus?

oh my.PNG

I read that as removing the ability to ADD/USE copy protection when ripping in that format with WMP.

That's what it appeared to be to me, too. But given M$' history with copy protection it seemed more likely they just took away the optional part. Not too big a deal, it just seemed an odd little move either way. LOL. It probably isn't worth a thread of it's own but I didn't want to drag an innocent thread off course with it.
