4G LTE Confusion -- Blue Life One X2 vs Elephone P9000

I've been trying to figure out what my new phone is going to be for weeks now with $200 in my pocket.

I've narrowed it down to two phones, but it seems like one of them might not have 4G LTE capability in my area (Charlotte).

I am trying to understand all of this and figure out for sure as it's the phone I like more, but LTE is a must for me.

Can anyone weigh in and let me know if it's possible?

Nobody can tell you whether it will work with only "Charlotte". Different carriers have licenses to use different frequencies. The X2 has bands 2, 4, 7, 12, and 17. The P9000 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 38, and 40.

X2 should work on AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon since it has bands 2 and 4 (and 17 for AT&T), but may not get full speed without having bands 12 and 13 for T-Mobile and Verizon and band 5 for AT&T. The P9000 isn't going to work at all for LTE in the US; it has 3,7, and 20 for Europe and 40 for China.

Charlotte is a city, not a carrier.
