Hi all,

Looking to purchase a dvd and br writter but I am not sure which site has them available.

Looking on newegg there is an option for br writters however nothing is coming up?

Is it worth getting a br writter or just a dvd writter with br reader??

Regards,

Bandit

BluRay discs will store an enormous amount of data. You can make very high resolution audio files or a lot of hi def video files on one disc. But you have to play/access it with a BluRay reader and have the appropriate software to do so. Amazon is a good place to look, along with M-wave, Tiger Direct, etc. Look through here http://www.newegg.com/Blu-Ray-Drives/SubCategory/ID-598?Tid=8609 for more newegg BluRay burners. :) I searched BR drives instead of "burners" and got the hits.

Ok thats fine thought I was going full r3tard just trying to get the cheapest internal dvd/br writter that can do it all newegg or amazon is fine.

Ok tried to query with amazon about a couple of drives I actually just asked them up front what I wanted to ensure I was getting the right product they linked me to a blu ray player for my tv I told them I was after a burner/writer for my PC they gave me a link to their search function and bailed on the conversation *sigh*

So here is what I am looking at hopefully these are the cheapest ones I can get from amazon if not please steer me in the right direction.

I am after a burner that will read write all formats of cd/dvd/br. To me both the below links look the same can someone please advise me what is the difference and if these both meet my expectations regarding what I am wanting to buy.

https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electroni...qid=1477289614&sr=1-4&keywords=blu+ray+burner

https://www.amazon.com/LG-WH16NS40-...qid=1477289614&sr=1-3&keywords=blu+ray+burner

Judging by the title I thought you had a BR drive and it was confused, not the other way around.

Luta has you going in the right direction

Here's the difference. Either would serve your purposes I do believe.

Awesome thank you for the link. I think on Amazon the opposite drive was the best seller and newegg its the other one. Hard decisions to make on my part does this 2D to 3D mean it can convert any normal movie into a 3D movie to watch on tv?

@ ATMINSIDE - Yeah the title was really poorly worded on my part haha was abit late and forgot I needed to get my post up before I got some z's :p
