That is completely up to you. I like my massive case with everything tucked in it nicely but boy is it heavy. Keep that in mind.

Well I really like the water cool external res and it would cost me not much more than a 900D...........

The fans I'd have to buy anyways so to me that's a wash.......... doing this would also let me mount a drive cage again for storage which I need and I can put my res on top of that.

What I do not know is how the external rad plays in to the loop to hook it up etc............

Going with the external 9x 120mm I would also never again have to worry about if I have enough rad and this will let me run lower RPM's to keep noise down...........

Ok TY I will keep looking.........

I got a gift card with new egg for a price match guarantee on my monitor lol

Yup, that looks fine. I would just do some research on their reviews and performances as some of these sticks can get a bit toasty sometimes. Usually the top dogs are the Intel 750 and the Samsung 950/950 PRO line. Something like this.

I snagged a 950 PRO 256GB

Now onto the water cooling lol.........

Bigger Case vs External Radiator.......?

The Watercool MO-RA3 with it's additional pedestal feet can give you the cooling you need plus alleviate internal case mounting problems.

It can also be side mounted to the case, the picture below is mine, the rad feet are Velcro'd to a metal plate that the pump is also mounted to.

Which makes it an independent unit positioned wherever I need it to be.

This is just a suggestion since you mentioned Watercool, the MO-RA3 is the equivalent of 3 360, 55mm core thickness rads.

The MO-RA3 I am running is cooled by 4 180mm Silverstone fans and is only cooling my GTX1080.

If you are curious as to what's cooling my CPU click the link in my sig, otherwise I hope this helps you.

I will be clicking my friend thanks for your input.

I was actually thinking of going to a smaller case and running the 9x140mm water cool rad externally and never having to worry about rad space again lol. My monitor gets here today and the GPU's Monday. I was looking at the Case labs BH7 bullet case in gunmetal and then the water cool external rad. This case would show off the GPU's upright how I like.........

Another option for an external rad is the phobya supernova 1260. That is what I run and it gets the job done. I am building mine into the bottom of a benching table to make it easier to move around. It tends to be heavy and awkward to move around otherwise.

Up to you but I would try and stick with the 120mm radiator fan based rad since most high performing fans are usually in the 120mm category. 140mms are fine as well but 120mm's have more static pressure.

Here's where my head was at for W/C parts:

Then I would of course need a pump/res as well. I don't see any back plates though for the GPU.....? Would really prefer one............clear tubing, chrome fittings, clear fluid, fans for the rads of course, the feet for the rad, dust filter for it, I would need the single slot brackets for the GPU's, and the connector to hook up the water to both blocks, and the pass through connector for the back of the case to go to and from the external rad to the case and vice versa..........

Why do you need the single slot brackets for the gpus?

For the pump and res, If I remember correctly there it's a kit that will mount on the side of that rad to mount the pump/res.
