Hi, I want to pick a couple of monitors for my workstation (Custom PC) can you help me to do a good pick, is mostly for coding, design and -sometimes- play.

Microsoft Studio -like- option:
1 x Acer T272HUL bmidpcz 27-Inch WQHD Touch Screen Widescreen Monitor: $809.99 https://www.amazon.com/Acer-T272HUL...UTF8&qid=1478103238&sr=1-2&keywords=Acer+T272
1 x Acer T272HL bmjjz 27-Inch (1920 x 1080) Touch Screen Widescreen Monitor: $499.99 https://www.amazon.com/Acer-T272HL-...7_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=65WA5JE09N2QV7RRPEMJ

Ultra Wide option:
2 x Dell UltraSharp U3415W PXF79 34-Inch Curved LED-Lit Monitor: $798.99 https://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSh...2&sr=1-1&keywords=dell+ultrasharp+u3415w&th=1

UHD option:
3 x Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch UHD: $354.39 https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-U28E...f=sr_1_15?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1478153117&sr=1-15

Some other better option? Thanks a lot :)

I personally like the ultra widescreen for my day to day usage.

Why see you considering a touchscreen? Would you actually use it and how would it affect your productivity? Throwing the touchscreen monitors in is like comparing Apple's and oranges depending on your usage scenario.

No, I don't think it will have a huge effect in my productivity, I just use one in a laptop and it was nice, also love the presentation for the Surface Studio, it looks like Microsoft is moving to touch and 3d for creators, the problem, the price, I'm not sure if it worth it, I think that I prefer at the very end to have more pixels.

After read a lot about curve screens I decide it to stay with normal ones, I don't want color distortion when I design, and I also decide to try to stay under $1000 then this are the options:

Ultra Wide 1:
1 x LG Electronics UM95 34UM95 34-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor: $849.90 https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electroni...d=1478526195&sr=1-20&keywords=5k+monitor&th=1

Ultra Wide 2:
1 x LG 34UM88-P 34-Inch 21:9 UltraWide QHD IPS Monitor with Thunderbolt: $738.99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV1Q0L4

Also, thinking really hard I will loe to have high pixel density, then this are the options:

3 x Dell 4K S2817Q 28" Screen LCD Monitor: $399.00 https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2817Q-...F8&qid=1478526947&sr=1-67&keywords=5k+monitor (They look awesomely cheep and good right?)

2 x Acer XB280HK bprz 28-inch Display Ultra HD 4K2K NVIDIA G-SYNC: $514.90 https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XB280HK...d=1478526947&sr=1-71&keywords=5k+monitor&th=1 (I really like the GSync part)

2 x ASUS MG28UQ 28" 4K/UHD 3840x2160 1ms Adaptive-Sync Eye Care Gaming Monitor https://www.amazon.com/MG28UQ-3840x...F8&qid=1478526859&sr=1-31&keywords=5k+monitor (I really like the GSync part)

1 x ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQ 27" 4K 3840x2160 IPS 4ms G-SYNC Eye Care Gaming: $812.99 https://www.amazon.com/PG348Q-3440x...d=1478526859&sr=1-48&keywords=5k+monitor&th=1

1 x Acer Predator XB271HK bmiprz 27-inch IPS UHD (3840 x 2160) NVIDIA G-Sync: $869.99 https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predato...478527022&sr=1-12&keywords=monitor+gsync&th=1

Open as always to any suggestion, thanks for all the help.

DLP. The only limit is how powerful it is. Aspect and size along with 'connections' goes out the window. That's what I'm getting next. My 48.5" Vizio M smart tv will be my last. Even my monitor I would replace with a dlp if I could. Obviously for artists and graphic design whatnot a highend monitor is a must but they are way over a G.

Dell. They do have full oled ones with instantaneous off pixels but they are not ts and are more $.

Monitors are even more. I think the line between tv and monitor is solely based on your needs.

Can you give me an example of this off pixels?

Thanks

Do you have a link to this one? DLP is a kind? I'm not following you, sorry.
