Trying to download projects on hfm and get this error.

That's an interesting one, I have same version, seems to be working on my end, so it's not HFM unless a file or two got corrupted.

Look in the preference setting then in the web settings tab and see if you have the new URL.
like this: http://assign.stanford.edu/api/project/summary
