wasn't the 4k doom benchmark showing vega as 10% better than a gtx 1080? that would put it between the 1080 and 1080ti like the fury x was between the 980 and 980ti right before it flopped. hoping they make it better by the time it's out or at least sell it for a decent price. i'll take one of these along with a hit to fps (vs 1080ti) if it's $500 or so. having 60fps solid at 4k in any game sounds great but i'm getting butterflies about spending $700+ on a 1080ti. should be interesting how things pan out.
