just did. and it worked. thats what you get from someone whos used nothing but amd for 15 years. lol

feel like an idoit now. i mean i tryed to do what i would have done with an amd chipo and turn off everything.

Yep. Different rules apply for sure. Not an idiot man. We all do what we know to do until we find out differently. And I'm not so sure that in earlier generations of Intels you would be disabling the Turbo if you wanted to overclock it but somewhere in the back of my mind I think that was the case. Changes all the time.
