well. got the new MB, installed it and it's doing the same thing. This one did come with the updated bios already, but unfortunately it didn't change anything.
There has to be an issue with my SSD... So, i guess i'll be doing a fresh install of Windows sometime soon.

Have you tried a different keyboard since the PC is having the same problem?

The keyboard wasn't causing this issue on the old setup, before i upgraded to Kaby Lake. So i didn't try to change it, no.
