Hello.
I'm trying to squeeze the last bit of performance from my old rig till I have enough money to upgrade. I managed to OC it up to 4.32Ghz but I want an experts opinion on voltages and other changes I made, if this is safe OC for 24/7 operation.
I didn't have much time to test stability I will list all the tests I made below:

30min OCCT Larg data set CORE TEMPS Low 60s (no error)
12 run Intel Burn Test (Stress level standard) CORE TEMPS High 60s (no error)
Unigine Heaven Benchmark
Unigine Valley Benchmark
3Dmark Fire strike ULTRA
NO BSOD on all benchmarks

I'm planning to run prime95 for 12 hours now to make sure that OC is stable but before that can you guys give your expert opinion on my settings so that I can run this for 12 hours with ease of mind. Thank you in advance.

My Rig specs:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3690
MOBO: Rampage 3 extreme
RAM: 12GB 2x6 Corsair Dominator GT rated 2000mhz original timing 8-9-8-24, 1.65V
GPU: Asus Strix GTX1080

Go for it! Looks good. Read the guide for c2d/c2q overclocking in the Intel ultimate sticky thread. ;)

One thing though, that 1080 is being held back by that processor...even overclocked. You also have 1.2KW of power for a system that won't break 325W...

thanks for reply. I'm planning to get new rig somewhere this year will take my 1080 get one more to SLI with it. good to hear that I didn't mess up voltages.

1080 sli... cool! You playing at 4k res or something? Why so much horsepower? Sorry for the questions, just making sure perception and expectations are lined up..perhaps saving you $650. ;)

That second 1080 will put you around 550W, note. ;)

not right now but planning for ROG swift 4k monitor with new rig so yeah my target is 4k gaming with as much fps as I can get. :) I will take my PSU and 1080 to new build.

one more thing my nvidia driver crashes and automatically recovers if I stress test intel burning test on maximum settings. Pc is running and benchmark is working no errors but driver keeps crushing every now and then anyone has any ideas on this? this doesn't happen on prime 95, OCCT and aida64 stress test. happens only on IBT. this is info from even viewer (Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. EVENT ID: 4101) I doubt it wll happen in any real everyday situations but still it kainda bugs me.

No clue. Makes no sense your gpu is crashing during an all cpu stress test...

Have your tried different drivers or reinstalling what you have?

I will try to reinstall GPU drivers maybe it will help. I have latest Nvidia driver right now.
