I have a gold EVGA 750 G2 and I want to swap out with a EVGA 750 P2 platinum. I have all my stuff OC on my current PC, will this swap effect anythin, or each PSU puts out difference amount of power to make that much difference?

Nothing to concern yourself with. All electrons sorted out by PSU's are created equal. The connectors are an agreed upon standard. The all look pretty much alike because Form, Fit, Function. Go for it.

why would you change it? save 2 bucks a year?
if that's the psu you WANT, I say swap them but, nothing will change.

If you have to pay more than $20 for it, I don't remotely see the point in this swap. You'll never make up the cost difference in efficiency.
