VRM Cooler for M.2?

They're probably SATAIII M.2s and not the toaster and faster PCIe M.2s. They since have improved but still run warm on loads.
 
I ordered some more stuff today and Included a length of 13/10 brass pipe - I'm thinking I should be able to cool the southbridge enough with just a brass U-bend fixed to the existing heatsink with thermal pads. If 13mm is still too high to fit between the 1080 cooler and the heatsink, I can put the bend in my vise and squeeze it down a few millimeters. A simple U-bend should also restrict the flow less than a waterblock, but with Twin 1500L/hr pumps (EK-XTOP Revo D5 PWM), I don't think flow will be a problem. God, the case will be packed though...
