4.9GHz @ 1.345 hottest core hit 75c max fan rpm was 1381 this was after gaming for a few hours lol

I had to change my fan profile and up my fans a tad lost 2 of the 9 last night I'm thinking due to running to slow and cause them to start rattling. I noticed if I upped the rpm a tad the rattle went away but still replaced them anyways its not like I dont have any more lol I ran 3 360mm in push pull so have 18 of them.

Finally got delidding tool after 2 months delay ... and delidded my 7700K last weekend. Temps in idle are almost without change, temps under full load are about 10-12°C lower. I'm using Grizzly Kryonaut TIM as I will probably use this CPU on sub 0 cooling.
I'm not sure how some users get so low temps. I see ~85-90°C under full load in new Prime95 at ~1.35V. Before delidding it was about 90-100°C. There is clearly an improvement but it's not something that would convince me to lose warranty if I was using this CPU only to play games.
CPU is stable for benchmarks at 5.3GHz 1.45V and temp is going up to ~84°C. That's after 2h of various benchmarks. Mainly 3D like 3DM Time Spy, VR Mark and some others.

Another delidder here. Delidded my G3258 backup and my 4670k yesterday. Temps dropped by an average of 14°C under load. I'll post some results soon after stress testing. So far the G3258 won't do 4.8 GHz (it seems to need 1.46V and temps hit 90C on air), but I'm looking to drag the sucker kicking and screaming to the 4.8GHz line. :)

My i3 6320 had about 12-14°C less after delidding but it was acting weird after about 1-2 months and is not stable anymore. OC before and after delidding was the same. My 3770K after delidding had ~12°C less and it was also not overclocking any better. 7700K has ~10-12°C less and it can make about 100MHz more for tests but stable max is without changes, just a bit lower temps. I guess I could drop temps some more if I used liquid metal on 7700K but it will probably go sub zero again so kryonaut is better.

How is the 4690k after delid? I have been wanting to do mine really for the simple fact I have never got it to boot at 5ghz 4998 is my closest

What do you have your Cache @ 4.7 1.44v mine likes 42 @ 1.2v 44-45 @ 1.32v cache voltage
cpu vrin voltage @ 2.1 seams to help the higher oc as well . I Have been working on a 4.7 oc ( the 4.8 in my sig is realbench and aida64 table not occt linx 4.7 is) my cheep kingston 1600mhz is running happily @ 1866 with only a small bump in voltage to 1.56 (from 1.5)

I saw a pretty substantial drop on my 6700k that I delidded a few days ago. All my temps are running latest P95 Small FFT. 4.5ghz at 1.28v dropped from 86C to 69C for a 17C improvement. Before I tried 4.6 but wasn't quite stable at 1.312v hitting 91C, after at the same settings it was still unstable but temps only hit 71C for a 20C drop! I got 4.6 stable at 1.328v and 74C. Currently P95 is chugging away at 4.7ghz, 1.424v, and 85C.

I would say it wasn't worth it if I had to buy the delid tool, but I borrowed it so the delid cost me about $17 for CLU and shipping. I'm probably going to end up running 4.6ghz daily so it really only gave me an extra 100mhz.
