I am running a 75 Hz. HP Omen 32" QHD display and I have two choices. QHD in 10bpc at 60 Hz. or QHD in 8 bpc at 75 Hz. I chose the 8bpc/ 75 Hz since I am a gamer. However, I have always wondered, can you really tell the difference between 8 and 10 bpc in games or elsewhere on a computer? I tried it browsing Facebook and couldent tell a difference, but somehow I think if a difference was evident it would be most evident on extremely colorful images, and less so on mostly text based webpages.

That said, anyone know how I could get 10 bpc at 75 Hz? I am running Displayport 1.2 so there is more than enough bandwidth. As such, I dont see what the problem is, I should be able to output 10 bpc to the monitor regardless of the resolution or refresh rate.
