Kill-a-Watt Power Draw Inaccurate?

I run a few big machines for Folding@Home and I'm trying to estimate my power draw from each machine.

I picked up a Kill-a-Watt device from Home Depot but I'm worried that it's inaccurate when reading consumption based on wattage.

Based on the benchmark reviews I've seen, a single 1080 Ti, on full load, should pull 300+ watts, but my machine with 3 x 1080 Ti and an i7-5930K doesn't pull over 850. Now, I know there won't be as much of a draw as I don't have a lot of components like a monitor or anything, but this still seems too low. The reading in the picture was at full Folding@Home load with each card sitting aroung 72C and fan speed manually set to 85% on each card.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Is this too low to be believed?

2 x 1070 @ ~400W


1080 Hybrid + 1070 @ ~450W

EDIT: Total system power draw... though I think my readings are still too low.

That is total system power consumption measured with a Kill-A-Watt, not just the GPU power draw...

So you see no problem with this reading? I just need a second opinion given that I run these 24/7.

Find a review that actually shows GPU power instead of system power (they do exist) and then add up the usage to see if your meter is accurate.
