Hey guys,

I just ordered an MSI Dominator and was wanting to upgrade the ssd to Nvme. I wasn't aware that Nvme's were prone to throttling. I was wondering if that was something I had to worry about with this laptop.

This is the intake... The vent underneath

There are two fans that exhaust out of the back. I'm just wondering how cool air actually gets into the laptop. There are no fans pulling it in? I'd guess negative pressure pulls the air in BUT with such a large vent could you build up enough negative pressure?

Do you think I'll have issue with cooling a Nvme? I was thinking the Evo 960.

Thank you!!

Its a very efficient laptop at cooling. I have the same unit. NEVER gets even warm to the touch to be honest.
