Many thanks to senior member Blaylock who showed off some code in the forum which is being used today. Hopefully the addition of this code makes reading this thread easier.
Team Spotlight:
While we often cheer and praise those at the top of the charts, keep in mind that it takes the whole team to take on the likes of the [H]ord and Overclock.net. Sure it’s easy to see the contribution of our billion point earners like Hayes and the super computer of Ramonet but their points alone do not take on the bigger teams.
Also remember that our heavy hitters started just like the rest of us. They started with one work unit then another then another and so on. Year after year their points have built up. Many of you have been a part of this team for a long time and your point accumulation shows your dedication to the cause and the team.
Several areas of the weekly review attempt to give credit to those who are contributing at a lower level. The movement on page one and the milestones are two examples of that. The races to milestones are another. The goal is to inject some fun and competition at all levels while sharing in the progress of the entire team. So maybe you can’t compete with the top 10 or top 20 but there are guys on the team that you can compete with to make folding fun in addition to possibly saving lives.
Just because you don’t have a super computer to burn in doesn’t mean you have a lower value to the team. Your goals and achievements are worthy of note so if you have achieved a goal that we missed, except for WhithawkEQ[/strike] let us hear about it.
It’s not how you fold, it’s *if* you fold.
